International Training of the EMBED Project Held in Las Palmas, Spain

The second international training activity of the Erasmus+ KA220-ADU EMBED – EMployability BEyond Disability through IT Skills project took place in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain, from 16 to 20 July 2023. The training brought together partners and participants from across Europe to strengthen competencies related to digital inclusion, employability, and adult education for people with disabilities.

The programme combined theoretical sessions, practical workshops, and interactive activities delivered by the project partners. Throughout the training, participants explored approaches to developing IT competencies for adults with disabilities and exchanged good practices on inclusive education and employment.

In addition to the training sessions, participants took part in networking and intercultural activities, including a guided visit to Las Palmas, fostering collaboration and strengthening the partnership.

The international training contributed to the development of innovative educational methodologies and practical tools that support the project’s objective of improving the employability of adults with disabilities through digital and IT skills.

During the meeting, partners discussed the development of questionnaires, the identification and analysis of best practices, and the preparation of national research reports. The agenda also included planning the upcoming training course, with discussions focusing on its objectives, structure, and implementation.
